Yara Kamal | Retreat’s facilitator, Workshops & activities guide
ABOUT YARA
Meet Yara, the CEO & creator behind Scoria World and the organizer for this retreat. Yara is a registered yoga teacher, young business owner and designer. At 21, Yara had a vision for grown-ups to let loose, play and re-connect with creativity again. After a couple of years hard at work, she launched Scoria - an environmentally conscious company with artistic cork yoga mats inspired by children’s imaginations. Yara aimed to cultivate a company brand culture that encourages creativity, playfulness & expression. As Scoria expanded, Scoria’s mission has become to create goods that are environmentally sustainable, while also giving back and inspiring a more creative world. With creating Scoria: Uniting Change-Makers, and hosting this very first retreat for Scoria, her vision is to bring people together to experience ultimate self-expression and healing. The experiences she wants to put together are ones that leave people moved, inspired or transformed. All by using mindful practices such as yoga and energy work; alongside the main aspect of play for happiness, healing and transformation.
When Yara is not hard at work you’ll find her silly-dancing, upside down, laughing uncontrollably or adventuring the world.

Dini Martinez | Retreat’s Yoga Teacher & Meditation Guide
ABOUT DINI
Dini will be your yoga teacher, meditation guide and workshop co-facilitator throughout the retreat. With more than 5,000 hours of teaching and 22 years of experience, Dini brings a rich and diverse background in yoga, meditation and breathwork, complemented by her studies and practice in Tantra, Ayurveda and Vedic Astrology.
Originally from Australia, Dini spent a decade living aboard a sailboat with her Argentinean husband and their three children, sailing the world and sharing her passion for yoga and the other Vedic sciences along the way through workshops, retreats and her own holistic yoga teacher training which she developed in 2016.
Dini has taken her practices to prisons and refugee centres; global retreats and corporate organisations alike. At the core of it lies a deep passion of healing our connection to self, our relationships and nature. Since 2024 she settled in her own retreat centre and permaculture farm near Medellin, Colombia.
During the retreat, Dini will draw from all these learnings and experiences to guide you through a deep and insightful chakra journey. Her classes range from strong and invigorating to gentle and deeply restorative, always balancing traditional teachings and subtle energetics with Western anatomy and contemporary relevance. At the heart of her teaching are safety, curiosity and joy, creating space for healing, self-discovery and meaningful personal growth.
Are you ready to embark on a sacred journey of connection and transformation—surrounded by palm trees, coral reefs, cacao and coconuts in the tropical paradise of Bocas del Toro?
